How can I study and stay on top of maths, econ, computerscience?
How can I make studying maths and computerscience as easy and straightforward as using uplearn for econ?
Is uplearn really that good for econ?
 I think so.
What do I want out of my learning method?
I want it to be insanly easy to start and manage. I want “I’m going to study x” to be as simple as “I’m going to go on uplearn and click learn” or “I’m going to go on uplearn and do as many macro videos as possible”
I want it to have a minimum level of things that are irrelevant to me studying. I don’t want to waste dozens of hours learning things that aren’t necessary or reviewing cards and answering questions to things unrelated to my exam
Probably the most efficient method in that case is studying straight to exam papers, like I did for GCSE. But that will put things in a different order than what I do in class
Also that is intensive to setup, far harder than “just go on uplearn and click go”
I want what i do in class and what I’m doing for revision to be easy and intertwined, like with uplearn. If I want to learn ahead I can, if I want to

Econ
 Do uplearn. Really easy.
So easy. How can I make it this easy for maths and computer science?
Maths
(OCR)

A mix between just doing practice questions and using SRS to remember specific methods.
Where will I get practice questions from?

See what Brilliant’s math courses are like? See what maths and cs uplearn are like?
 too far away from course.
 Uplearn Maths however
is AQA. But is only slightly different than ocr apparently (and the differnce will be made up for by the time saved on ease of study)
 Price: £250/year
Ok having up learn maths would be crazy simple, I woudn’t have to make any flashcards.
If I do Dr Frost maths I’ll have to do make my own flashcards,
A part of me feels wrong about this, is screaming
UP LEARN WILL MAKE YOU MEMORISE A BUNCH OF USELESS CRAP! STUDYING FROM PAST PAPERS WILL BE BETTER!
But studying from past papers is hard. You need to find the papers, and do them, and then you still have to learn the stuff. I’m just gonna

But I really probably just wanna do this anyway: [Derivatives in a Nutshell Brilliant](https://brilliant.org/courses/calculusnutshell/introduction72/derivativesinanutshell/)
Could I not just use Khan Academy?

Could get maths uplearn for learning the actual material

If you’re stuck on a tough problem with crazy numbers, use simple numbers so that you can focus on the concepts
Oh wait, uplearn for maths is mathswatch or mymaths or dr frost maths!
But neither have built in srs
How to quickly find video explanations if using dr frost? Dr frost should be used for practice questions, it’s the best source I think. Instant feedback
 Current Plan
Get maths uplearn. if I can’t get it for free, ask PAF to pay for it. If not, take drastic action.
Do maths uplearn. (Do Turbo one weekend just for the thrill of it)

Okay but how am I gonna study for this individual test?
Figure out what’s gonna be on the test as closely as possible
Need exam questions sorted by topic. Where can I get those?
 Dr Frost
 Pain with all the buttons
Exampro like Ibrar used for science?
 Those cambridge elevate books.
But it takes so long to find out where the topics are!!!
Eg if i want differentiation questions
Ok for differentiation it was easy. Just go to “mixed practice” in the book.
Then what to do when you get a question wrong? make flashcards? Useless for cramming, only useful long term. I

CS
Literally just SRS and Exam questions
Yeah but how? Gotta be more specific. Say I’m going to revise compsci right now, what do i do?

 Buy – Smart Revise (craigndave.org)
Okay, easy spaced repitition for CS Smart Revise – The course companion that redefines revision (craigndave.org)
In built spaced repitition is preferable, like uplearn. Then I save a tonne of time and overhead in making cards.
No plan rn. Go over past assessments and SRS the questions I failed at.
When will I do Anki?
 In the morning
How will I go about making cards?
Remember to do a bunch of questions first, mark yourself, and THEN go about learning from the cards.
Ok, WHEN will I revise each of these?
I should be able to have 3 focusmates a day. One at first prep, one at second prep, one at the end. I can work till 23:00
But don’t I wanna do a lot of clubs?
If I just focus on studying and not on anything else my life will be so focused and chill. Eg. not doing sock’s job.
